The Art of Massage
provides therapeutic massage to clients in Marion
and Polk Counties. This includes deep tissue, relaxation, hot stone and
other massage techniques. Additionally, The Art of Massage assists
people with cancer as they struggle towards wellness.
Arthur Peters loves helping others heal, and derives great satisfaction
from the fact that he has helped hundreds of people address their
needs. “I combine intuition with skill to listen to my
clients and respond to their needs which opens the door to greater
healing.”
Not surprisingly, his client base has grown by an incredible tenfold in
only two years, and all due to word of mouth and personal referrals.
History
Arthur’s first career was in Information Technology, where he
spent thirteen years. He described himself as an “instrument
of change that was not always appreciated or wanted.” When
the economic climate for high technology changed he knew it was time to
find a new career, one in which his contributions would be appreciated.
While receiving massage himself and taking yoga classes, he came to
realize that a career in massage therapy would allow him the
opportunity to be a more positive and direct instrument of change. He
enrolled at the Oregon School of Massage, graduating in December 2003,
and started his practice immediately afterwards.
